Tristana is the Yordle Gunner in Riot's League of Legends. Her joyful nature is just as explosive as her cannon. This traveller is not one you want to be in close-range to... or any range at all really.
She is one of the most slippery ADCs out there and really gives champions a run for their money. Not only does she have incredibly high damage but her escape is brilliant for engaging and disengaging.
However, most summoners only view her as a small and fiery yordle. But, let's look at her history, items, and what items build well with her kit.

Tristana lore
Tristana is an adventurer by nature. Not quite the Indiana Jones style you see with champions such as Ezreal but an adventurer nonetheless. She has seen wonders all around Runeterra and experiences war at its worst.
After experiencing all of this, her knowledge of war and militia was great. This is what helped her to become the protector of Bandle City after many threats from her people. This is why she decided to craft Boomer to mimick Bilgewater weaponry.
She joined the League of Legends in an effort to protect the bandlewoods from any harm.
Tristana abilities
Tristana has a brilliant kit for stacking up damage. Running items that increase her attack speed is popular due to the strength in her consecutively hitting. Expect a lot of explosions in-game when you play her.
Passive - Tristana increases her auto attack range and the range of Explosive Shot by 7 every time she levels up. Additionally, at level 18 the bonus is 126 (676 total range).
Rapid Fire (Q) - Increases Tristana's attack speed for 7 seconds.
Rocket Jump (W) - Tristana fires at the ground to propel herself to a target location. Also, this deals magic damage and slows surrounding units by 60% for a few seconds when she lands.
Kills, Assists, and max stack Explosive Charge detonations on Champions reset Rocket Jump's cooldown.
Explosive Charge (E) - Enemies explode when slain by Tristana's attacks, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies.
Places a charge on the target enemy or turret that explodes after 4 seconds, dealing Physical Damage to nearby enemies. Tristana's attacks and abilities increase the charge's damage by 30%, up to 4 times.
At 4 stacks, the charge explodes immediately. The detonation radius is twice as large if used on a turret.
Buster Shot (R) - Tristana fires a massive cannonball at an enemy unit, dealing magic damage and knocking them and the surrounding units back. Range scales with Draw a Bead.
Best items
Attack speed is the name of the game for this bundle of damage. Running Kraken Slayer sets the foundation for her high damage later on in the game. Additionally, the extra attack speed is also great for getting those hits out there.
Beserker's Greaves is the typical boot choice for most ADCs and holds true here as well. Stormrazor is the next item for her kit which brings both crit chance and attack speed. And which item do we get for more crit? Infinity Edge.
However, finishing off this build is a great chance to push her to the limits of her attack speed. Rapid Firecannon is perfect for Tristana and means she can get even more magic damage out in the League of Legends.
