LoL Clash - what are clash tournaments?

League of Legends clash tournaments has been trending recently with the changes to the game mode.

Changes to Howling Abyss have also been implemented to make ARAM more fun for players.

However, this has left some players wondering what exactly Clash is.

Besides a fun way to spend your evenings, clash is also a great way to get some good rewards in the game.

It can also lead to some competitive flair to help people be the best they can be.

So, let's take a look at exactly what clash tournaments are and how players can get involved in League of Legends.

What is Clash?

Clash tournaments will allow players to enter a more formalised tournament to face off for that trophy.

Teams of 5 will compete in an 8-team pool to try and win the best rewards possible.

Players have to buy tickets to enter the tournaments but these usually aren't too pricey and can give good rewards.

The better position that your team leaves the tournament in, the better rewards are given.

Here are all the requirements players must have to enter the clash.

Be level 30.
Have completed all placement matches in Ranked for Summoners' Rift.
Your "League" account must have been verified by SMS (this new function only applies to Clash).
Buy a clash ticket: standard ticket 975 BE or 195 RP, premium ticket 975 RP.

There aren't too many requirements for players to enter the event but each member of the team must meet all of these too.

Players can purchase a basic ticket for entry or a premium ticket.

Premium tickets are more expensive but can leave players with much better rewards at the end.
