Genshin Impact University Invitational Tournament offers over £11,000 in Prizes

Genshin Impact is making another incursion into the competitive arena with the University Invitational UK tournament.

The invitational has collaborated with gaming societies from nine universities, but will be available to all UK students (including one alumni per team), and offers a massive prize pool!

Genshin Impact Tournament Format

Genshin Impact University Invitational UK will be held in the United Kingdom. Each team will challenge each other in a series of game contests to compete for the championship.

  • Stage 1: Team Registration and Selection (Online) May 9 until May 16
  • Stage 2: Qualifiers (Local University Divisions) May 16 - May 20
  • Finals (Live from London) May 28

The finals will be broadcast live on Twitch on the day of the competition, May 28, at 4:30 pm GMT.

How to Register

Each team will consist of 1 captain and 2 members, they can apply at the site of the event.

  • The captain can initiate the team registration.
  • All team members must be at least 18 years of age
  • Participants must be students who are currently studying in the UK or have already graduated. Teams are allowed a maximum of one alumni player.

Prize Pool

The first University Invitational UK is not giving only bragging rights. There are big prizes for the teams in the first three places as well as the most popular team.

  • Popularity Award: £1000 and 600 Primogems for each Team Member
  • Third Place: £2000 and 500 Primogems for each Team Member
  • Second Place: £3000 and 1000 Primogems for each Team Member
  • Champion: £5000 and 2000 Primogems for each Team Member
