Genshin Impact is taking the gaming world by storm.
With the release of the new update version 1.1 leaked, we take a look at which catalysts from the game you should aim to be using.
Obviously, if you do manage to snag the 5-star Klee than it’s a no-brainer. However, if you don’t, then you may need a hand selecting which one to try.
Let’s take a look now at our Genshin Impact Catalyst tier list!
There are only certain characters capable of using these catalyst weapons.
These are Klee, Mona, Barbara, Lisa, Ninguang and Sucrose.
Now that you can remember who you’ll need to use these weapons, let’s jump into which catalysts you should be aiming for!
First up we have Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds.
This is a 5 star catalyst and increases movement speed by 10%. When in battle you will gain an 8% boost in Elemental damage every 4 seconds.
This lasts until the character falls or leaves combat and is max 4 stacks.
Skyward Atlas comes in at number 2, another 5 star catalyst.
This increases Elemental damage by 12%.
Normal Attack hits have a 50% chance of earning favour of the clouds, actively seeking out nearby enemies for 15s dealing 160% attack damage. This can only occur once every 30 seconds!
The Widsith is our third choice for this tier list, and our first 4-star catalyst.
First of all, it grants a 10 second random theme song once every 30 seconds.
These theme songs act as follows. Recitative: Increases Base ATK by 60%, Interlude: Elemental Mastery is increased by 240, Aria: Increases all Elemental DMG by 48%.
Blackcliff Amulet comes in at fourth, and another 4-star amulet.
Defeating an enemy will increase the next Elemental Burst’s damage by 24%.
It lasts for 30 seconds and is max 3 stacks.
Solar Pearl takes the fifth on the tier list, and another 4-star catalyst.
Normal Attack hits increase Elemental Skill and Burst damage by 20% for 6 seconds.
The reverse is also true, with Elemental Skill and Burst hits increasing Normal Attack damage by 20% for 6 seconds.
Mappa Mare comes in at sixth and is the first on the list that can be forged at 4 stars.
When you trigger an Elemental reaction you receive an 8% Elemental damage bonus for 10 seconds. This is max 2 stacks.
Taking the seventh spot is Favonious Codex, a 4-star catalyst.
CRIT hits have a 60% chance of generating an amount of Elemental Particles, regenerating 6 Energy for the character.
This can only occur once every 12 seconds.
Royal Grimoire is our eighth spot on the tier list.
When you damage an opponent, CRIT rate increases by 8%, max 5 stacks.
A CRIT hit also removes all stacks.
Ninth goes to Prototype Malice, a 4-star catalyst which can also be forged.
When you use an elemental Burst you regenerate 4 Energy every 2 seconds for a total of 6 seconds. This totals to 12 Energy.
Party members also regenerate 4% HP every 2 seconds in this time.
Sacrificial Fragments takes tenth, another 4-star, forgeable catalyst.
If you damage an enemy with an Elemental Skill, there is a 40% chance the skill will end its own cool down. This can only occur once every 30 seconds.
The penultimate entry on our catalyst tier list is Eye of Perception, a 4 -star.
Both Normal and Charged attack hits have a 50% chance of firing a Bolt of Perception, dealing 240% attack damage.
The bolt can bounce between enemies a maximum of 4 times and can only occur once every 12 seconds.
The final entry on the list is Wine and Song, another 4-star catalyst.
For each player in your party from Mondstadt, the player wielding this catalyst will gain 8% attack increase and 3% movement speed increase.
