Genshin Impact 2.4 Enkanomiya: Map, Location Leaks, and Bosses Revealed

When we thought that we were done exploring every corner of Inazuma, Genshin Impact 2.4 data mining has revealed that there is more left to find in the land of the Electro Archon.

Enkanomiya, a vast underwater city, is the next step in Traveler's journeys.

Here is everything we know so far about the new region in Genshin Impact 2.4, and what leaks suggest we'll find come launch.

Release Date

While the new region has yet to be confirmed, Genshin Impact 2.4 will launch on January 5th.

Leaks suggest the underwater city will arrive with it!

New Region: Enkanomiya

Enkanomiya is set to be the last area of Inazuma in Genshin Impact. Besides being underwater, this land will alternate cycles of Evernight and Whitenight.

This change will affect the appearance of the nine sub-areas by which Enkanomiya is divided.

Enkanomiya seems pretty huge. Leaks suggest there will be more than 20 new Teleport Waypoints and 9 sub-areas!

It is possible miHoYo will reveal Enkanomiya in parts as done with previous Inazuma maps. Therefore, we can expect six areas will be available initially, and three more will keep locked.

These are the names of the 9 regions of Enkanomiya:

• The Serpent Heart
• The Narrows
• The Serpent Bowels
• Evernight Temple
• Locus of Divergence
• Yachimatahiko's Locus
• Yachitamahine's Locus
• Oohurime Omikoshi
• Vishap Research Lab

Talking about Vishaps, data miners revealed that Enkanomiya would introduce a new type of enemy as well.

Primordial Bathysmal Vishaps

The Primordial Bathysmal Vishaps are beasts with amphibious physiology that harness Cryo, Hydro, and Electro Elements.

These Bathysmal Vishaps will introduce a new debuff that will deplete the energy of the characters. When there is no energy left, they will reduce the character's HP!

Enkanomiya new Bosses

This time Genshin's new bosses will be a double threat. Enkanomiya's new bosses are a pair of Gigantic Vishaps that harness electro and hydro elements, respectively.

The Rimebitter Bathysmal Vishaps and Bolteater Bathysmal Vishaps will drop the world material: Dragonheir's False Fin, which will be an important resource in Genshin Impact 2.4.

Dragonheir's False Fin

This item is a piece of Biological tissue that players can find once they defeat the Bathysmal Vishaps, the new bosses in Enkanomiya.

Dragonheir's False Fin is an ascension material necessary to level-up Shenhe, the new 5-star Cryo character. We also expect there will be more uses for the item come launch.
