Genshin Impact 1.4 is right around the corner, and miHoYo has announced the first two Event Banners for the latest update.
These banners bring with them some surprises, leaving players to wonder how to obtain a newly announced character.
Even so, some fan favorites return, as well as a slew of new weapons.
Ballad in Goblets
Running from the release of Genshin Impact 1.4 until April 6th, 2021, Ballad in Goblets will give players the chance to pull 5-Star "Windborne Bard" Venti (Anemo.)
Venti was briefly available as the first event-limited character in Genshin Impact, and is widely considered one of the game's best Utility characters.
Other characters that have an increased chance to pull are 4-star characters "Harmless Sweetie" Sucrose (Anemo), "Wolf Boy" Razor (Electro), and "Chivalric Blossom" Noelle (Geo.)
Each character from the Ballad in Goblets will also be available in a "Test Run" trial event, giving Genshin Impact players a chance to try out each character and earn rewards.
The Windborne Blossoms Event Banner will run from the release of Genshin Impact 1.4 until April 26th, 2021.
Genshin Impact players must be at least Adventure Level 20 to pull from the banner, which has a chance of dropping new weapons such as the Elegy for The End bow, the Alley Flash sword, the Wine and Song catalyst, the Alley Hunter bow.
The new Windblume Ode bow can not be pulled from the banner and can only be obtained during the Genshin Impact 1.4 Invitation of Windblume event.
Where is Rosaria?
Originally thought to be part of the Venti banner, Rosaria will instead be part of the Childe rerun banner once Ballad in Goblets has run its course.
This means that Genshin Impact players will not be able to get their hands on Thorny Benevolence until the end of April.
