The FIFA 21 TOTY has arrived, and there has been a whole host of extras that have accompanied the main squad.
This includes the Honourable Mentions, a selection of players who didn't make the cut, but needed recognition for their performances over the last 12 months.
Erling Haaland hasn't been revealed as of yet, but this social media scam would lead you to believe otherwise.
The Norweigan has had a sensational twelve months for Borussia Dortmund, so for many, it was surprising that the forward was not included as part of the Honourable Mentions.
But if you've been on Facebook this weekend, you may have stumbled across a sponsored advert that would lead you to believe that he has been added.
Posted by the page 'Twitch EA FIFA 21' the advert encourages you to link your account to Twitch in order to unlock some FIFA 21 TOTY rewards.
However, the link redirects you to a page which is not secure, nor is it actually linked to Twitch.
Avoid putting your details in here at all costs!
So as you've probably already worked out, Haaland is not coming to the FIFA 21 TOTY set up.
Well, not yet anyway!
The Norweigan is one of a host of huge names who missed out on a place in both the TOTY and the Honourable Mentions set up - including 12th Man nominees Thiago and Heung Min Son - as well as current TOTW favourite, Neymar Jr.
EA has been known to stagger their promo releases in the past, so could we be set to see another crop of Honourable Mentions revealed in the coming days? Don't rule it out!
Whilst the Haaland card in the scam post may not be official, the ratings are actually quite similar to what we could expect to see should the Dortmund forward be added to the setup.
The 91 OVR would be one higher than his current highest-rated card, which matches the format EA have followed with other cards in the release.
We think they have shortchanged his shooting a little though, we'd boost that up to a 95 OVR which, coupled with 92-rated physicality and 91-rated pace, would make Haaland a terrifying prospect.
Whether Haaland makes the TOTY this year or not, it's probably safe to say that we will see plenty of blue versions of the prolific goalscorer in years to come!
