FIFA 20: Top 100 Ratings Predictions 10-1 – Who is the Highest Rated FIFA 20 Player? Hazard confirmed, Van Dijk, Messi & Ronaldo

Messi, Ronaldo or Van Dijk - which Ballon d'Or chaser tops the charts this year?

It has been an arduous task to rattle the top 10 best FIFA 20 players, however, after some serious consideration we have a top 10 prediction for FIFA 20.

10. Kevin De Bruyne (OVR 91 – 90)

Position: CM, CAM

Age: 28

Club: Manchester City

Country: Belgium

Kevin De Bruyne had an unfortunate 2019 with injuries. Overall, he missed 29 games for Man City because of injuries last season.

We think despite this, he will remain in the top 10 rated players for FIFA 20. This season will be the season where he can once more reign as the best player in the Premier League, especially with no Eden Hazard (OVR 91) to compete with.

9. Harry Kane (OVR 90 – 90)

Position: ST

Age: 26

Club: Tottenham

Country: England

Harry Kane missed a couple of months last year because of injury. Despite this, he scored an impressive 17 goals in 28 Premier League appearances. He also netted 5 goals and got 1 assist in the 2018/19 Champions League, as Spurs missed out on the trophy.

Despite his injury niggles, the England captain should still maintain the 90 overall he picked up in the Ratings Refresh.

8. Robert Lewandowski (OVR 90 – 90)

Position: ST

Age: 31

Club: Bayern Munich

Country: Poland

Robert Lewandowski scored 22 goals in 33 Bundesliga appearances last season. He finished the Bundesliga as top goalscorer once more, although had a lower tally than in 2017/18 (29 goals). He got 5 more assists in the League and also netted an impressive eight goals in as many Champions League appearances.

He also has started this season on fire, having scored six goals in three Bundesliga appearances, cementing his 90 overall for FIFA 20.

7. Mohamed Salah (OVR 88 – 90)

Position: RW, ST

Age: 27

Club: Liverpool

Country: Egypt

Mo Salah had a brilliant 2018/19 season. He was the joint top goalscorer in the Premier League, with 22 goals and ended with 8 assists. He played a vital part in Liverpool’s Champions League success having scored five goals and picked up two assists.

A long overdue 90 overall should come this year, with the Egyptian scoring 74 goals since his arriving at Anfield.

6. Virgil van Dijk (OVR 88 – 90)

Position: CB

Age: 28

Club: Liverpool

Country: Netherlands

Words cannot describe the year Virgil van Dijk has had in 2019. He recently won the UEFA player of the year award and is odds-on favourite to win the Ballon d’Or. Not only was he the fastest player clocked in the 2018/19 Champions League, he did not get dribbled past once both in the Premier League and Champions League. This includes the two Champions League semi-final matches against Messi!

We would predict his FIFA 20 card to be higher rated, but given that EA upgraded him to an 88 in January we doubt they will increase his rating by the amount he deserves.

5. Jan Oblak (OVR 90 – 91) LEAKED

Position: GK

Age: 26

Club: Atletico Madrid

Country: Slovenia

This rating has been leaked and confirmed for FIFA 20. Thanks to leaks by @futdonk on Twitter, since an EA insider compromised data. Oblak had a superb season last year, being a key reason to the Atletico Madrid defence conceding the least amount of goals in La Liga last season.

4. Eden Hazard (OVR 91 – 91) CONFIRMED

Position: LW, CF

Age: 28

Club: Real Madrid

Country: Belgium

This rating for Eden Hazard on FIFA 20 has been confirmed by @futdonk as well  – plus his Ones to Watch item was teased in the official Ratings Trailer. What makes the prediction seem accurate, is that they use the same picture of his card on their Twitter

Eden Hazard arguably should have had an upgrade after an incredible season with Chelsea last season, that saw him get a lucrative Real Madrid move. Not only did he score the most goals he has scored in the Premier League last season (16), he also got the most assists in the Premier League (15).

3. Neymar (OVR 92 – 92)

Position: LW, CAM

Age: 27

Club: PSG

Country: Brazil

Neymar was plagued with injury last season, and unfortunately missed the Champions League tie against Manchester United last season, otherwise, PSG may have enjoyed an even better season last year.

Neymar scored an impressive 15 goals and get seven assists in only 17 appearances in Ligue 1. He also got five goals and two assists in six Champions League games. Despite that, his status just about saves him with no drop expected to his overall.

2. Cristiano Ronaldo (OVR 90 – 93)

Position: ST, LW

Age: 34

Club: Piemonte Calcio (Juventus)

Country: Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo had a decent season by his standards last year. The best moment came with the hat-trick against Atletico Madrid to rescue Juventus from an almost impossible recovery. If Juventus could have found a way past Ajax and win the Champions League, his overall season would have been superb. He scored 21 goals and got eight assists in 31 Serie A appearances.

He also scored 6 goals and got 2 assists in the Champions League. Ronaldo was only the fourth highest Serie A top goalscorer and didn’t achieve enough goals to warrant his 94 rating this year.

1. Lionel Messi (OVR 94 – 94)

Position: CF, RW, ST

Age: 32

Club: Barcelona

Country: Argentina

Lionel Messi had a spectacular season last year, even by his lofty standards. He was the top goalscorer in Europe by a large margin, scoring 36 La Liga goals in 34 appearances. He was also the top goalscorer in the Champions League with 12 goals and got 3 assists. In La Liga, he produced the joint highest assists (13).

Aged 32, expect this to be the final year he has a 94 overall – but you can never write this man off. Maybe teaming up with Antoine Griezmann (OVR 89) could take him to another level?
