We edge even closer to the end of season as another week of action passes. For the first time this year, league titles were secured in Europe, with Juventus and PSG getting over the line with victories in Italy and France, respectively. It’s still all to play for in the Premier League with both Liverpool and Manchester City winning, and just one point separates Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. Over in Spain, Barcelona have a nine-point gap over the rest of the field with just five matches remaining.

So, in the races for the title, European football and survival, which players pulled out the stops and could earn a spot in the FIFA 19 Team of the Week? A squad of 23 in-form players will be released on Ultimate Team on Wednesday, 24 April at 6pm, and you can challenge this squad for a coin bonus. You can look to get hold of these players for yourself by hunting in packs from the FUT store or buy and sell them individually in the transfer market.

RealSport looks at who could make the TOTW from this week’s action.

Thomas Strakosha (OVR 80 – SIF 85)

We start in Italy, with Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha saving a penalty in the 2-0 win over Udinese. The Rome based side still has their work cut out between now and the end of the season however, needing to make up three points for a Europa League place and four to make the Champions League.

Strakosha’s 80 overall rating should rise to an 85 second in-form card this week, with his base card worth 800 coins on PS4 and 600 on Xbox One. An 83 in-form item from TOTW 1 will set you back 52,500 on PS4 and 64,500 on Xbox One.

Clement Lenglet (OVR 82 – IF 84)

Barcelona took another step towards the La Liga title with a 2-1 win over Real Sociedad. Centre back Clement Lenglet got on the scoresheet, his first league goal of the season, taking the Catalans to within seven points of securing the league title.

Lenglet’s 82 overall should receive a first in-form boost of the season, with the Frenchman likely to improve to 84 this week. His base card costs 2,400 coins on PS4 and 2,700 on Xbox One, with an 83 Champions League item valued at 6,900 on PS4 and 7,500 on Xbox One.

Niklas Sule (OVR 84 – IF 86)

A 1-0 win against Werder Bremen keeps the fate of the Bundesliga title in Bayern Munich’s hands, and it was Niklas Sule who was the unlikely goal scorer. The defender scored his second league goal of the campaign, moving Bayern just four games away from yet another league title.

Sule’s 84 overall is likely to rise to an in-form 86 this week, with the German international’s base card worth 8,000 coins on PS4 and 8,100 on Xbox One. An 85 Champions League item will set you back 24,500 on PS4 and 25,000 on Xbox One.

Alex Sandro (OVR 86 – TIF 89)

Juventus secured their eighth consecutive Serie A title thanks to a 2-1 win over Fiorentina, with a strike from left back Alex Sandro contributing to the result. The Brazilian’s first league goal of the season levelled things up at 1-1 after 37 minutes, with an own goal getting the three points for the Old Lady.

Alex Sandro’s 86 overall is likely to improve to a third in-form card of 89, with his base item priced at 26,000 on PS4 and 24,750 on Xbox One. An 87 Champions League rating costs 79,000 on PS4 and 70,000 on Xbox One, whilst an 88 in-form is worth 210,000 on PS4 and 189,000 on Xbox One. An 89 Headliners item, which will remain one higher than any in-form card, costs 565,000 on PS4 and 557,000 on Xbox One.

Ayoze Perez (OVR 76 – IF 81)

Ayoze Perez secured Premier League safety for Newcastle almost single-handedly, with the Spaniard netting a hat trick in the 3-1 victory over fellow relegation battlers Southampton. The result sees the magpies move on to 41 points in the top-flight, 10 clear of the drop zone and flying high in 13th place.

Perez’s 76 overall could be set for a big jump to an in-form 81 this week, with his position moving from centre forward to right midfield. His base card costs just 1,100 coins on PS4 and 1,400 on Xbox One.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (OVR 82 – TIF 87)

The surprise result of the weekend was a 4-0 thrashing by Everton over Manchester United. Gylfi Sigurdsson was the star for the Toffees, with a goal and an assist in the win, lifting the Merseyside club to seventh in the PL table.

An 82 base card for Sigurdsson should head to a third in-form of 87 this week. The attacking midfielder’s base card costs 2,400 coins on PS4 and 3,500 on Xbox One, with an 86 second in-form worth 50,000 on PS4 and 67,000 on Xbox One.

Pozuelo (OVR 79 – SIF 84)

Over to the MLS, and new Toronto FC recruit Pozuelo keeps delivery. The Spaniard scored twice in the 4-3 win over Minnesota United, taking the Canadian side to second in the Eastern Conference, with four wins from their first six games of the campaign.

Pozuelo’s 79 overall should rise to a second in-form card of 84 this week, with his base card priced at 700 coins on PS4 both consoles. An 82 in-form is worth 17,500 on PS4 and 17,250 on Xbox One.

Franco Cervi (OVR 80 – IF 83)

Benfica recovered from their Europa League exit by blowing away Maritimo this week, with a crushing 6-0 victory. Left winger Franco Cervi bagged two goals in the victory, keeping his club top of the table on goal difference ahead of Porto.

Cervi’s 80 overall could improve to an 83 in-form this week, with the Argentine’s base card worth 850 coins on both consoles. An 81 Champions League item costs 1,700 on both platforms also.

Kylian Mbappe (OVR 88 – TIF 91)

Kylian Mbappe celebrated a hat trick of Ligue 1 titles, with well, a hat trick against his former club Monaco in a 3-1 win. The striker now has 30 league goals for the season and is the only man who could catch Lionel Messi (33) in the race for the European Golden Boot.

Mbappe’s 88 overall should receive a third in-form boost to 91 this week, with his base card valued at 235,000 on PS4 and 194,000 on Xbox One. An 89 Champions League item costs 398,000 on PS4 and 357,000 on Xbox One, and a 90 second in-form card will set you back 903,000 on PS4 and 757,000 on Xbox One. A 91 left wing FUT Birthday item requires 1.1 million on PS4 and 965,000 on Xbox One, and a 97 Team of the Year rating has a value of 3.7 million on PS4 and 3.4 million on Xbox One.

Karim Benzema (OVR 85 – SIF 88)

Karim Benzema is one of the few Real Madrid players to have delivered consistently this season, with the Frenchman on course for his best return in a Madrid shirt. A hat trick in the 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao sees him move onto 30 goals in all competitions this term, 18 higher than last season.

Benzema should see his 86 overall improve to a second in-form card to 88, with his base card costing 12,500 on PS4 and 12,250 on Xbox One. An 87 in-form item from TOTW 20 will set you back 55,000 on PS4 and 60,000 on Xbox One, with an 89 Champions League live card costs 110,000 on PS4 and 124,000 on Xbox One.

Goncalo Guedes (OVR 82 – IF 85)

Staying in Spain, Valencia man Goncalo Guedes bagged two goals as Los Che defeated Real Betis 2-1. The victory sees the club moving up into fifth place in the league, just two points off the Champions League spots.

Guedes is likely to improve from an 82 overall to an in-form 85, with his position set to move from left wing to striker. His base card costs 3,200 coins on both consoles, with an 83 Champions League item valued at 7,300 on PS4 and 6,400 on Xbox One. An 84 Europa League Man of the Match card will cost you 29,000 on PS4 and 24,250 on Xbox One.
