Making his trod back into Destiny 2 for a final time in 2022 is everyone's favorite NPC, Xur, and he has tons of armor and gear to sell.
As always, players can expect only the best from this more-than-odd merchant as Xur provides Guardians with an extensive selection of Exotic and Legendary items, no matter where he's located.
That being said, here's everything we know so far about Xur in the week of December 30.

Xur Release Time (December 30)
Xur always appears on a Friday and takes his leave on the following Tuesday. For this week, he'll appear on Friday, December 29, 2022, and will be taking his leave on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
He's set to arrive at 12:00 p.m. EST on Friday, so if you want to make sure you don't miss out on him then follow along with our countdown below so you can catch him right on time.
Xur's Arrival (December 30)
Xur will bring plenty of Legendary and Exotic items during his last stay of 2022 and yet another appearance in Season 19, so you don't wanna miss him!
Who is Xur in Destiny 2?
Holding the title of the Agent of Nine, Xur is a strange seller who seldom shows his face around Destiny 2. When he does, however, it's at a different place each time.
Like his ever-changing locations, what Xur offers to players also varies. With anything from Exotic armor to Legendary weapons, there are all types of rare items that players can't get anywhere else.
If you're looking to take advantage of what he sells, you'll have to make sure you catch him on time as he doesn't stick around for long!

Xur Location
Xur's location changes each week, but he gravitates between several areas:
- Winding Cove in the European Dead Zone
- In a tree in "Watcher's Grave" on Nessus
- In the Hangar in the Tower
- The Last City, Earth
- Arcadian Valley, Nessus
