Warzone 2 STB 556

Warzone 2 is well underway, and now Season 2 has finally arrived, with lots of exciting changes now live in the Battle Royale. The biggest of them is the new rebirth map, but new weapons are also here to shake up the meta, unlockable via the Battle pass and new challenges.

Assault Rifles are dominating the meta, and are the premium choice for long and mid-range engagements. Here's how to build the STB 556, which is the old AUG reimagined and stronger than ever.

Best STB 556 Attachments in Warzone 2

The STB 556 is a beast at long range, and like the other Assault Rifles is very easy to use. Here are the attachments we recommend to turn it into a beam machine in Al Mazrah:

Warzone 2 STB 556 Loadout

  • Barrel: Bruen Turaco 686mm | 0.5^ | 0.4>
  • Optic: Aim-OP V4 | -1.57^ | -1.65>
  • Stock: Bruen HCR-56 Stock | -4^ | 2.4>
  • Magazine: 42-Round Mag
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 | 0.55^ | 0.17>

These attachments and tuning will give the STB a much better range, and very low recoil in Warzone 2. The larger magazine is a must though, to give you a little margin for error and allow you to shred through plates in a single mag.

Swap out the Aim-OP optic for a schlager 3.4x or a VLK if you're looking for a little more zoom, with the trade of slightly more visual recoil.

Best STB 556 Perks and Equipment

The STB 556 is a great weapon to grab as a primary from a shop in Warzone 2. If you can get your hands on a full loadout, however, here's what we recommend to round out your class:

  • Perk Package: Weapon Specialist
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife

Weapon Specialist is a must in Warzone 2, as it allows you to run the overkill perk and take two kitted-out primary weapons. We recommend the Fennec 45 or the Lachmann Sub as a secondary for close-quarters engagement.

Run a heartbeat sensor to see enemies coming, and a throwing knife to eliminate downed foes without wasting time or ammo, and you'll be good to go.
