Modern Warfare 2 is finally here, and players around the world are grinding though the ranks and the revamped mastery camo system. There's tons to unlock as you progress, including some of the best guns in the game.

How to Prestige in Modern Warfare 2
Unfortunately for the grinders out there, prestige mode isn't available just yet. Once Season 1 drops on November 16th however, it will become available, and you'll be able to reset your rank in the usual way.
The prestiges will be tied to seasons, as it has worked in the previous few entries in the Call of Duty franchise, and Modern Warfare 2 is no different.
Levelling up your prestige will unlock extra loadout slots, and weapon platforms for you to tweak in the new gunsmith. Expect more weapons to become available with the release of Warzone 2.0 for you to use too.
What to grind in MW2 in the meantime
If you're looking for something to grind while you wait for Season 1 in Modern Warfare 2, there's plenty to get stuck into. The revamped mastery camo system is much more accessible, so unlocking gold on your favourite weapons is easier than ever.
Additionally, be sure to check out the Campaign if you haven't already, as you'll unlock exclusive rewards you can take into Multiplayer. It's undoubtedly one of the best Campaigns we've seen, so don't miss out!
