How to unlock Black Ops Cold War Season 5's Cane Melee Weapon

Black Ops Cold War Season 5 is out now and we know everything you need to know about the Cane Melee Weapon and how to unlock it. It's time to crack some skulls in the classiest way possible and win the Cold War!

UPDATE - Weapon Blueprint Store Bundle revealed

The Cane Melee Weapon is coming to Black Ops Cold War at the start of Season 5 and we know how you unlock it! First things first, there's a new Weapon Bundle coming to the in-game store which has the first Cane Weapon Blueprint included in it.

The Stolen Goods Bundle comes with the following:

• Lost Lion - Cane Weapon Blueprint
• Investigator - Park Operator Skin
• ??? - Finishing Move
• ??? - Calling Card
• ??? - Emblem

How to unlock the Cane Melee Weapon

Official Call of Duty Blog Description:

" Give your enemies a proper sorting with a quick swing from this new melee weapon, which can knock them unconscious after a crack upside the bonce."

Yeah, we don't know what "bonce" means, either. If you want to unlock the Cane Melee Weapon in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, though, you'll need to complete a Weapon Unlock Challenge in-game.

In Multiplayer:

" Using a Melee weapon, kill an enemy disoriented or blinded by your Stun Grenade or Flashbang in 15 different completed matches."

Or, in Zombies:

" Using a Melee weapon, kill 20 or more enemies consecutively without getting hit 50 times."

Alternatively, you can unlock the Cane melee weapon by purchasing a Store Bundle with a Cane Weapon Blueprint. This will automatically unlock the Cane melee weapon for you to use. It's worth noting that this won't unlock the base version of the weapon, but it won't stop you from earning Weapon XP for the Cane.

When does the new weapon come out?

UPDATE: Season 5 has started and the Cane melee weapon is now available via in-game challenge and Store Bundle. Happy hunting!

Season 5 is due to start on August 12th in both of the Call of Duty games at the following times:

• 21:00 August 11th - PST
• 00:00 August 12th - EST
• 05:00 August 12th - BST

We don't know when a Store Bundle with the Cane melee weapon in it will be available, but they should be added to the Store Bundle rotation during the Season 5 update.
