Assassin's Creed Valhalla Release: Title already claims a huge playerbase


The latest Assassin's Creed title, Valhalla, released this week.

Taking the player back to the Viking era, the game focusses heavily on Norse Mythology.

Following months of waiting, the game finally launched to an excited crowd.

And when we tell you that it was a big crowd, we mean it!

The game let's players start their adventure in ninth Century England as Eivor.

STORYTIME: AC Valhalla has an incredibly immersive narrative

Ubisoft has since revealed the the game has DOUBLED the first-day player count of Odyssey.

This is one incredible achievement, especially given the release has been bundled up with next-gen consoles.

We don't yet have any official numbers, but given the game releases today for PS5, we're excited to see what the figures are.

COVID-19 Release

The team behind the game have done an amazing job.

Not only have they had to deal with the work from home effects of COVID-19.

They have also had to ship the game on to 7 different systems at once, no mean feat given the circumstances!

The game launched today across the world for PS5, however only certain regions have the PS5 so far.

BRUTAL: The latest AC title is as graphic as ever

The game is also available on the Ubisoft store, PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store.

The game is currently £49.99 for the standard edition, but other versions are available.

These are the Gold Edition for £83.99 and the Ultimate Edition for £99.99, both of which come with added extras.
