Xbox are improving Cloud Gaming with Game Pass

Looking for the latest Xbox news today? We've got everything you need to know and it's going to be a big day for Game Pass today and tomorrow.

We also have an Xbox Series X stock update below, as we know there's a lot of you out there who still don't have one.

Xbox Series X Stock Updates

It's another tough day to get your hands on an Xbox Series X console. We're expecting GAME, Argos and the official Microsoft Store to all get restocks soon but there's not much news to suggest when this will be exactly.

StockInformer confirms that the Xbox Series X is pretty much sold out across the board.

As always, there's always eBay and CEX with their second-hand Xbox Series X stock. This is going to be an inflated price and you should be careful about what you're buying from eBay if you decide to go down this route.

SOON - It IS slowly getting easier to get an Xbox Series X, even if it doesn't feel like it

The Series S is also pretty hard to come by, but you'll have better luck grabbing this from places like AO, Very and Currys PC World. Major retailers like GAME and Argos are still low on stocks for this too.

New Game Pass Games Tomorrow

It's a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Grand Theft Auto 5 is back on Game Pass from April 8th as just one of seven new games being added to the service over the next week (or so).

  • Grand Theft Auto V (April 8th)
  • Zombie Army 4: Dead War (April 8th)
  • Disneyland Adventures (April 8th)
  • Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure (April 8th)
  • NHL 21 (April 12th)
  • Rain On Your Parade (April 15th)
  • Pathway (April 15th)
  • MLB The Show 21 (April 20th)

Some people are suggesting that Grand Theft Auto 5's return to Game Pass could signpost an announcement about the Enhanced Edition of GTA 5 from Rockstar Games.

We're not so certain, as there isn't much to justify this, but we will be watching Rockstar Games' accounts with great interest going forwards. Just in case.

Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta

It's over PlayStation, Xbox seems to have the high ground. Well, when it comes to mobile gaming anyway.

If you have an Android Device and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you can download the Xbox Game Pass app right now and take part in the Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta today!

You might have been under the impression that you could do this before but the difference is that there's a selection of games that will have touch-screen support! That means it'll be even easier to play your favourite Xbox games on the go in the future.

SO MANY GAMES - Game Pass is still the best deal in gaming at the moment

Minecraft Dungeons, Gears 5, Enter The Gungeon and Celeste are just four of the 50+ games included in the beta. You can see the full list on Xbox's site here.

That isn't it though (even though we know it's a lot!)

If you're a Gears 5 player, you can actually get Batista as Marcus for free from the in-game store this week!

It's the crossover we never knew we needed and we're frankly sad that it stopped there. We just want to see Macho Man gibbing Grubs, alright?

Overwatch's Archives Event has also just started and offers a fantastic chance for players to get involved in some lore-based PvE action. Although there aren't any new missions this time around, Mission Modifiers have been added alongside the Weekly challenges and the new cosmetics to keep things fresh.

In addition to this, the "lighthearted space survival game" Breathedge is out now on both Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. This title follows the same beats as a lot of the other survival games out there, but it's graphically stunning and set literally in outer space.

Finally, we're in the last few days of the FUT Birthday celebrations on FIFA 21. Team of the Season is due to kick off pretty soon after but for now, you can complete limited-time SBCs and daily Objectives to get your hands on packs and event cards with huge stat boosts. We've even seen a five-star skill move Scott Dann, so... Wild times.
