Now that we're at the end of April, we are due to see May's Xbox Games With Gold announcement this week.

April 2022 Xbox Games With Gold Release Date
When it comes to Xbox Games With Gold, there are two main dates to remember: the announcement date and release date.
The games tend to get announced at the end of the month but don't get put onto Games With Gold for another week or so. Generally, we tend to see the announcement of next month's Games With Gold on the final Wednesday of the month. If this is the case, we should see it on Wednesday, April 27th.
Then, after they've been announced, they will be avialable to download and play starting Sunday, May 1st. Keep an eye on both dates as they sometimes change a little each month.
Our predictions
Predictions are really hard to make when it comes to Xbox Games with Gold. Unlike PS Plus, they don't tend to have a theme to them so they feel a little random.
Generally, we'll see two AAA Xbox 360 titles and two somewhat older indie titles on Xbox One. This make this very hard to predict. We imagine we will see a LEGO game of some kind and maybe an older shooter. Outside of this, maybe we'll see something like SteamWorld Dig 2.
