The May 2021 Games With Gold games revealed

The Games With Gold lineup for May 2021 is finally here, a little earlier than expected.

Below, we've got everything you need to know about what games are included and when you'll be able to download them.

LATEST - Full Lineup Revealed

It's a day earlier than usual, but the Games With Gold lineup for May 2021 has been revealed.

There doesn't seem to have been any official announcement yet, but Wario 64 on Twitter has revealed the lineup via the official image.

• Armello - May 1-15
• Dungeon 3 - May 16-31
• LEGO Batman - May 1-15 (Xbox 360)
• Tropico 4 - May 16-31 (Xbox 360)

You will be able to pick up the first two games from this coming Saturday.

May 2021 Announcement & Release Date

If there's one thing Microsoft is pretty good at, it's sticking to their own self-imposed schedules. With that in mind, we know when we're expecting Xbox's Major Nelson to drop the May 2021 PS Plus announcement.

The official Games With Gold announcement for May 2021 should be released on April 27th at 11:00 EST / 16:00 BST. It's always on the last Tuesday of the month at the same time.

As for the actual games' release, they're usually released in cannon throughout the month. This means that there will be one Xbox One game released on May 1st, then one on May 15th.

As for the Xbox 360 titles, there's going to be one released on May 1st and another on May 15th, like the Xbox One titles. You can check out last month's announcement to get a glimpse of what we mean:

Games With Gold Predictions

This is the part that gets a bit... Less solid. We don't know exactly what's going on just yet but we do have a few predictions for you. First, let's talk about the Xbox One titles.

The Euros are finally coming in 2021 and we think Xbox could reflect this with Football Manager 2021 Xbox Edition as one of the free Games With Gold for May 2021.

In addition to this, with the upcoming release of Resident Evil Village...We reckon a Resident Evil game is a solid prediction. Resident Evil 5 is a classic and we think it could be one of the Games With Gold games for May 2021. Alternatively, we could get Resident Evil 7 Biohazard as a free game. This is the game before Resident Evil Village, after all.

As for the Xbox 360 games, we think we could be seeing a couple of classic titles up for grabs. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, SSX, and Ninja Gaiden 2 are all titles we want to see that doesn't seem too out of the ordinary. As you might imagine, though, we won't know for sure what's coming until the announcement next week.

It's been unusually quiet on the leaks-and-rumors front and we really have no idea what Games With Gold titles are going to be announced for May 2021.

There are rumours that Bandai Namco's Code Vein is coming to Xbox's May 2021 Games with Gold but these are pretty baseless and we're not sure we'd bet on it. Quite a few Bandai Namco titles have been added to the service over the past few years, but this could be said about a lot of developers.
