Nikki Bella’s new role in the WWE

Since Nikki’s departure from the WWE as a wrestler, she has appeared on two reality TV shows – Total Divas and Total Bellas, and even Dancing with the Stars. It is fair to say that she is quickly becoming one of the WWE’s biggest cross-promotion female talents, and it seems that she isn’t going to stop here. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (by way of 411mania.com), Nikki Bella is going to be offered a position as the SmackDown Live General Manager.

This is supposedly going to happen to match a storyline that they are currently working on in their aforementioned reality TV show “Total Bellas.” Nikki’s brother-in-law, Daniel Bryan, is the current General Manager of SmackDown Live, and he has been since the brand split. However, we know that Kane has attacked Daniel Bryan which could be the start of him losing his position as GM. What are your thoughts on seeing Nikki Bella return to our screens in a WWE setting, but outside of the ring?

Brock Lesnar’s Royal Rumble challenger

Whilst it may seem ages away, Royal Rumble 2018 is in fact only a few months in the future. And right on cue, the rumours begin to fly around. Who’s debuting, who’s facing who in the title matches, and so on. At the moment, Brock Lesnar is going to face Jinder Mahal at Survivor Series 2017, which airs on the 19th of November – however, what are the plans after this?

Many people have speculated that the obvious choice would be Finn Balor – the psychology of the match would be terrific, with Lesnar’s quick and powerful style versus Finn Balor’s agile and high flying style. He also had to relinquish the WWE Universal Title a day after winning it, so it’s more than fair to say that he is due a shot. But he won’t be. According to Cageside Seats, Finn has been dropped out of the list of challengers for Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble – which would actually explain his strange booking as of late; particularly losing to Kane. Currently there is no word on who will be getting the title shot instead of Balor. What are your thoughts, who would you like to see get a title shot, and is it fair that Balor has been dropped out?

Heel turn to set up big match at WrestleMania

Recently we saw the long awaited reunion of The Shield – with Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns coming together to form the once great trio. However, it looks like it’s going to be short lived. According to Sportskeeda, the WWE creative team are going to wait for The Shield to become fan favourites once again, only to have Dean Ambrose turn on Seth Rollins, as an act of revenge for what Seth did to him when they first split the group. This will lead up to a big match at WrestleMania between the two. What do you think on this decision? Is a WrestleMania match between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose worth yet another devastating Shield split?

James Storm leaving Impact Wrestling

What is happening over there? Recently we’ve seen a big exodus of talents leaving the Impact Wrestling promotion, with names including Rockstar Spud, Low-Ki, MJ Jenkins, Eddie Kingston and a few others. Now, according to PWInsider (by way of 411mania.com), James Storm is next to join that long list of names. His contract doesn’t expire until January, and there is one last round of TV tapings next Wednesday where they will cover the last few episodes of 2018, but these may be his last dates.
