How to get the Celestial Steed mount in WoW Dragonflight

Celestial Steed WoW Dragonflight

Nearly 20 years old, World of Warcraft has had a plethora of items and goodies to collect. One of these, is, of course, mounts.

Used mainly for transportation purposes, getting a player from point a to point b, mounts come in all shapes and sizes. You have the dragons, the horses, the tigers, and even the weird bug-like mounts. But they all have one thing in common, players love to collect them.

Seeing that—and seemingly continuing a newfound trend of bringing back old items—Blizzard Entertainment has given players the chance to obtain a previously obtainable mount, the Celestial Steed.

How to get the Celestial Steed mount in WoW Dragonflight

Previously tied to the Battle.net Shop for $25, the Celestial Steed has been long removed from the catalog of mounts players can attain. However, with the newly introduced Trading Posts feature in WoW Dragonflight, this has all changed.

Much like the Garrlok pet, players can purchase the Celestial Steed from the Trading Post. The Celestial Steed can be purchased for 900 Trader's Tender, the Trading Post's currency.

Players can get Trader's Tender via two methods:

  • Just by logging in and heading to the Trading Post, players can collect 500 Trader’s Tender every month from a chest called the Collector’s Cache.
  • Completing a monthly set of activities in the Traveler's Log
    • These activities include anything from completing dungeons and quests to Trading Post-specific tasks

The Celestial Steed will only be available during the month of February 2023, as the mount, alongside other items such as transmog, and more will leave the Trading Post when the month of March rolls around, rotating what the Trading Posts offer.

Players can find Trading Posts in their corresponding factions' capital cities—Stormwind for Alliance, and Orgrimmar for Horde.

Over in Stormwind, Tawny, and Wilder have set Trading Post set up just outside the Mage District. On Ogrimmar's side, Shiri awaits Horde players next to Grommash Hold.
