The 2022 Wimbledon Women's Singles Championship is now officially underway with the qualifying rounds completed and the players now looking ahead to the opening rounds.

All eyes will be on World No.1 Iga Swiatek this summer as she looks to prove her grass-court credentials and extend her miraculous 35-match unbeaten run.

Emma Raducanu faces a tough tournament following a disappointing start to 2022, while on the other side of the pond, Coco Gauff will be targeting another final appearance after losing the French Open in straight sets to Swiatek.

RealSport101 is on hand with all the key information surrounding this summer's Wimbledon Women's Singles Championship.

Latest News - Emma Raducanu to face Alison Van Uytvanck

British No.1 and teenage sensation Emma Raducanu will take on World No.46 Alison Van Uytvanck in the first round of the 2022 Wimbledon Women's Singles championship.

The 28-year-old Belgian is something of a grass-court specialist and will prove a stern test for the 19-year-old Brit.

Raducanu is seeded tenth for this summer's Championships but will face an uphill struggle to make an impact on the South London grass following a less than ideal preparation period.

Raducanu suffered a side strain in the Nottingham Open earlier this month and remains without a trainer after splitting with German coach Torben Beltz.
