With just over a month to go until Women's EURO 2022 gets underway, the England women's national team are already in preparation mode for the tournament.
Sarina Wiegman's side will be hoping to go one better this summer after losing to eventual winners the Netherlands in the semi-finals of Women's EURO 2017.
The group stage of that tournament saw England top Group D after recording comfortable wins over Scotland, Spain and Portugal.
As the host nation, England are the first seed in Group A of Women's EURO 2022, but who will they be facing?
Who is in England's Women's EURO 2022 group?
The Lionesses will kick off the tournament on July 6th when they take on Austria at Old Trafford in a game that will likely break the attendance record for the competition.
Austria produced their best ever Women's EURO run in 2017 and were the other team to taste defeat in the semi-finals of the competition. Irene Fuhrmann's side is unbeaten in five competitive matches heading into the tournament with their last defeat coming against England in a World Cup qualifier back in November.
Matchday two of the tournament will see England take on Martin Sjögren's Norway side at Brighton's Amex Stadium on July 11th. The Scandanavians are considered one of the dark horses for the tournament, but were beaten 3-0 by England when the sides met in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.
England will hope to have their place in the knockouts wrapped up heading into matchday three, but should the Lionesses need a victory, tournament debutants Northern Ireland are ideal opponents.
This will be the first meeting between the two sides in over 13 years with the Lionesses having claimed victory in all six prior meetings between the sides. Northern Ireland are ranked just 48th in the world and are the major underdogs for this year's tournament.
