Harmony Tan's incredible Wimbledon 2022 story continues on Monday afternoon when the French player takes on 20th seed Amanda Anisimova for a place in the quarter-finals.

Anisimova is something of a rising star in the Women's Singles category at just 20 years of age and proved her pedigree when knocking out compatriot and fellow wonderkid Coco Gauff in the third round of this summer's Wimbledon Championships.

Her fourth-round opponent will be the 24-year-old Harmony Tan, who was a virtual unknown heading into the tournament.

Who is Harmony Tan?

Harmony Tan headed into the 2022 Wimbledon championships with minimal Grand Slam pedigree.

The World No.115 made her Wimbledon debut on Tuesday, June 28th when she shocked the legendary Serena Williams on Centre Court.

Tan was beaten in the first round of the French Open earlier this year and was forced to retire from her second-round match with Elina Svitolina in the Australian Open.

The 24-year-old has burst onto the scene this summer though, following up her win against Serena with straight-set victories over 32nd seed Sara Sorribes Tormo and home hero Katie Boulter on route to the fourth round.
