When is the UEFA Europa League Final 2022?


The 2022 UEFA Europa League finalists have been confirmed.

Rangers will take on Eintracht Frankfurt in Seville after the two upset the odds to overcome RB Leipzig and West Ham United respectively.

It will be Rangers' first European final since 2008, where they lost to Russian side Zenit St Petersburg by two goals to nil. Frankfurt will be contesting a first European final since 1960, where they were hammered by Real Madrid by seven goals to three.

But when will the 2022 final take place? Here is everything that you need to know.

UEFA Europa League Final Date & Kick-Off Time 2022

The 2022 UEFA Europa League final will take place on Wednesday, May 18th. The game will take place ten days before the UEFA Champions League final.

The game will be played at Seville's Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium, which has a capacity exceeding 40,000. Ticket prices range from €40-€150.

Kick-off is scheduled for 8pm GMT / 4pm EST.

Scottish champions Rangers will be the fan favourites heading into the Europa League final, after they upset the odds yet again to defeat red-hot tournament favourites RB Leipzig.

Goals from James Tavernier, Glen Kamara and John Lundstram handed the Gers a 3-1 victory at Ibrox on Thursday night, as they overturned a 1-0 deficit from the first leg in Germany.

They will be joined by a German opposition for the third time in the tournament after Eintracht Frankfurt saw off 10-man West Ham United by a goal to nil to complete a 3-1 aggregate victory.

The winner of the UEFA Europa League final will meet the UEFA Champions League winners in the 2022/23 UEFA Super Cup.
