The 2022 Tour of Denmark gets underway on Tuesday night as the riders prepare for Stage 1, taking them the 226 kilometres from Allerød to Køge.

Some notable names will be taking part in the race, including Britain's Geraint Thomas, the Belgian Jasper Philipsen and the experienced Christophe Laporte.

The 2022 iteration of the tour does clash with the Vuelta a España, adding to what will be a bumper week of cycling action.
