The Air Jordan 13 is set to debut in a new "University Blue" and black colour scheme, leaving many sneaker fans curious as to when we might hear a release date announced by Nike.
Due to the immense popularity of North Carolina's collegiate colours, Nike has often applied them to its Jordan releases like the Jordan 6 "UNC" colourway and the upcoming Jordan 1 "University Blue" golf shoes.

Air Jordan 13 University Blue Release Date
At this moment in time, the "University Blue" Jordan 13's are expected to arrive on 29 December 2022.
This may be unsurprising given Nike often holds off on its hottest Jordan releases until the holiday season; however, we'd recommend taking this date with a slight pinch of salt at this stage given some of the recent delays in Jordan sneaker releases.

Air Jordan 13 University Blue Design
Very little is known about the design of the collegiate Jordan 13's. In fact, we've only seen a single mockup image of what the sneakers will likely look like so far.
According to the render though, these Jordan 13's will come dressed mostly in black across the toeboxes, outsoles, tongues, laces, and mesh panelling along the lateral and medial sides.
You'll then likely get University Blue suede overlays towards the heels of the sneakers to match the bright blue midsoles containing the Nike Air units for added comfort.
To round off the design, the Jordan 13's signature circular hologram should also feature towards the heels and contain the 3D Jumpman logo and #23 to represent MJ himself.

It's currently being reported that a men's pair of the "University Blue" Jordan 13's will come with a $200; however, as we're still a little way from their release, this may be subject to change.
