Nike appears to be cementing the Air Jordan 1 Element GORE-TEX's place in history with the addition of a "Light Berry" colourway, leaving many to wonder when we might see a release date for these all-weather sneakers.

Official images of the shoes emerged shortly after rumours began circulating of the "Light Curry" GORE-TEX release. As a result, it would seem 2022 is an extremely exciting year if you're a fan of the Air Jordan GORE-TEX range.

When Is The Air Jordan 1 Element GORE-TEX Light Berry Release Date?

Nike is yet to disclose an exact release date for the "Light Berry" Jordan 1's, however, recent reports suggest that they will likely drop at some point Spring 2022.

One of the last GORE-TEX Jordan 1's released was the "Light Bone/Sail" colourway on 20 December 2021. While this isn't much to go off, it could be an indication that the "Light Berry" sneakers will arrive towards the end of the upcoming Spring months.

As there is still some uncertainty surrounding their arrival, make sure you check back in with us as we'll be keeping you updated with the latest "Light Bery" news right here.

Unlike the release date, we do have confirmation of what the "Light Berry" colourway will look like via the reveal of the official images.

The base layer is constructed out of a greyish-white GORE-TEX material, boasting both breathability and water resistance to tackle all weather conditions.

You then get tumbled leather overlays around the toes, along the tongues, and across the collars and heels in a Light Berry hue.

Black then arrives, dressing the GORE-TEX branding, 3M Swoosh, and 'Wings' insignias around the ankle collars, thus providing a darker tone to contrast the predominately light theme thus far.

Nike has then included bright red Nike branding stitched onto the tongues which may be a nod to the original "Banned" or "Bred" Jordan 1 colourway from 1985.

It's also worth mentioning that inside the shoes you get a white Nike Air logo in the left sneaker, while the right features GORE-TEX branding, again dressed in white.

To complete the design, you get an interesting abstract pattern underfoot of an effect that looks as though black dye has leaked out and spread across the grey outsole.

As a result, you get a black, translucent layer that allows just enough light to pass through to see the Nike branding in the centre of the sneakers.

Air Jordan 1 Element GORE-TEX Light Berry Price

Without an official listing, it is hard to say how much the "Light Berry" GORE-TEX sneakers will cost.

However, we predict they will have a retail price somewhere in the region of $200, or £165, based on previous GORE-TEX releases.
