Miami-based music producer DJ Khaled has unveiled his new Air Jordan 5 signature sneakers known as the "We The Best" collection, leaving many fans wondering when we might see Nike announce a release date.
It's no secret that DJ Khaled is a massive sneaker fan, with his huge selection of kicks previously valued at $8 million; however, his Jordan 5 range isn't the only music industry release in the works.
Alongside the "We The Best" Jordan 5s, Billie Eilish is due to debut a new Air Force 1 High, while Drake's NOCTA brand is also teaming with Nike for a collaborative release later this year.

DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 We The Best release date
Although recently announcing their upcoming arrival via his Instagram, DJ Khaled made sure to keep the details surrounding his collection's release a secret.
In the post's caption, he only went as far as revealing that his Air Jordan 5 range will see a global release at some point in 2022.
However, the first of the "We The Best" 5s has now been listed on Nike's SNKRS launch page and, in doing so, has revealed the initial release date.
It has now been confirmed that the "Crimson Bliss" 5s are out now as of 28 November 2022 to kick off the collection.
It remains unclear when subsequent colourways will be released, so make sure you stay tuned for the latest updates right here as and when they arrive.
DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 We The Best designs
In total, six new Air Jordan 5 colourways were previewed in DJ Khaled's announcement, all of which incorporate some form of pastel tone either across the uppers or as finer details.
However, despite six sneakers being previewed, only four of the colourways have been revealed in more detail thus far.
This suggests to us that the turquoise and dark blue iterations seen above may be the friends and family releases DJ Khaled mentioned in his Instagram post.
That said, these Salmon Pink and bright purple iterations were among those that were revealed in more detail, which already look to be strong contenders for some of the best Jordan 5 colourways around.
Both pairs feature leather uppers, mesh cutouts, and contrasting coloured details such as blue speckled midsole accents and black heel counters.
You also get the famous phrase "We The Best" embroidered onto the heels, while the interior linings include "Keep" and "Going" on each foot, styled out with quilted material surrounding the patches.
The "We The Best" moniker also appears underneath the translucent rubber outsoles to complete DJ Khaled's signature details for this collaborative effort.
On top of the purple and pink Jordan 5s, the collection will also include light blue and bone white pairs. Both feature similar signature DJ Khaled accents as the aforementioned colourways.
DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 We The Best Collection price
Again, the price of DJ Khaled's Jordan 5s was originally kept under wraps; however, the recently listed "Crimson Bliss" colourway has confirmed the retail price as $225 in adult sizing.
There's currently no listing for smaller and presumably cheaper kid's sizes just yet, although we'll make sure to keep this article updated with any changes on this as we approach the release date.

One of the first places you'll likely find a listing for the "We The Best" collection will be at the Nike store, presumably under the new releases, basketball, or Jordan subsections.
