It's the day Britain and the rest of Europe have been waiting for - the PS5 is here.
But it seems even the supergiant Amazon has buckled under the demand of hungry gamers itching to get their hands on the PS5 console.
State of Play
Customers were left irritated when the 12pm GMT stock for Amazon UK was seemingly unavailable.
“An error occurred when we tried to process your request,” an error page reads.
"We're working on the problem and expect to resolve it shortly. Please note that if you were trying to place an order, it will not have been processed at this time. Please try again later."
Out of Stock
Following that message, you can get back on the PS5 listing page - but there are no consoles available.
Controllers are available, as is the HD Camera but other peripherals remain
out of stock.
We will update this page if and when stock becomes available.
