If you're looking forwards to any opportunity to explore the world created in Horizon Zero Dawn, we have everything you need to know about whether this Horizon Call of the Mountain is coming to PS5 consoles - or whether it's a PS VR2 exclusive title...

Is Horizon Call to the Mountain coming to PS5 consoles?

Technically, it is. However, you're not going to like why we used the word "technically"...

Horizon Call to the Mountain is going to be an experience that's exclusively "created for PlayStation VR2" - this, as you might imagine, mean it's going to be a PS VR2 exclusive title. We don't know too much about the availability of the headset yet or whether this game is going to be available on PSVR headsets too, but we're thinking that this is unlikely.

Here's what PlayStation has shared regarding this new game so far...

" Created for PlayStation VR2, this unique experience has been designed to push hardware technology, innovation, and gameplay. The stunning visuals and brand-new PS VR2 Sense controllers give a new meaning to being fully immersed into the world of Horizon.
We don’t want to reveal too much just yet, but this story will be told through the eyes of an entirely new character. You will also meet Aloy, other familiar faces, and new characters along the way, and we’ll be introducing you to the protagonist of Horizon Call of the Mountain soon."

We also have a teaser trailer, which you can check out below:

Horizon Call to the Mountain doesn't have a release date yet, but it looks to be a PS Vr2 exclusive title.
