When it comes to the world of competitive fighting games, it doesn't get much bigger than the Evolution Championship Series (Evo). The mecca for the fighting game community is about to get even bigger, however, with a new Evo Lounge live show to help broadcast the event to fans as announced by PlayStation today.
Set to be hosted by players and commentators from within the fighting game community, the Evo Lounge is going to keep viewers up to date with the event and show exclusive content not available elsewhere. Here is what we know.

When is The Evo Lounge?
EVO 2022 will be taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A. and will see the highest skilled players within the fighting game community play some of the most popular titles within the genre such as Street Fighter V, Mortal Kombat 11 and Tekken 7 among others.
The event will be running across the weekend, starting Friday, 5th August 2022 and will be ending on Sunday, 7th August 2022. The Evo Lounge live show meanwhile will be starting on Friday, 5th August 2022 and ending on Saturday, 6th August 2022.
Where to Watch Evo Lounge Live Show?
You can find the Evo Lounge live show running all throughout the weekend being streamed on both the PlayStation Twitch page and the PlayStation YouTube page.
It will feature curated show coverage, interviews with players, bracket updates and content reveals from developers and publishers like Arc System Works, Warner Bros. Games, Capcom, SNK, and Bandai Namco Entertainment.
Viewers can expect the latest fighting game news from the Evo Lounge as well as glimpses into the future when it begins to stream Friday, August 5th 2022.
