More exciting news has been revealed ahead of the full launch of PGA tour 2K23, with more collaborations announced!
The latest reveal sees partnerships with Barstool Sports, Dude Perfect, and 100 Thieves confirmed to be in the game.
All content related to the collaborations will be available post-launch, with the release of PGA tour 2K23 set for Friday, 14 October.
2K revealed the exciting news today, along with the following statement:
PGA TOUR 2K23 tees up a rollout of post-launch bonus content with collaborations across video game culture, entertainment, and sports lifestyle media.
Tapping into the massive appeal and audiences of Barstool Sports, Dude Perfect, and 100 Thieves, 2K will keep the fairway fresh with apparel drops and playable personalities from each brand in the coming months.
All bonus content will be free for all players across all platforms.
Barstool Sports is one of the "largest and most influential" multimedia sports brands around, and they will have branded merchandise available in this year's game.
The merchandise will be specific to their golf podcast, Fore Play, and will be free for all players.
Barstool Sports also hosted online tournaments in PGA Tour 2K21, so we could see something similar again in the new title.
From late October, players will be able to fit their avatars with Dude Perfect apparel.
Dude Perfect-branded hats, polo, and hoodie will all be available in your MyPlayer custom options.
PGA Tour pro, Collin Morikawa, will also take part in a video to see which of 'The Dudes' will be added to the game as a playable character.
Lastly, in-game apparel will also be available from the "premium lifestyle brand" and gaming organisation, 100 Thieves.
Alongside the in-game apparel drop, 100 Thieves CEO and Founder, Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag, will be added as a playable character in the game.
"Nadeshot" has previous links with PGA Tour 2K after a course collaboration resulting in the playable Thieves Landing!
