We are now just days away from the full launch of Mario Strikers: Battle League, but you can get involved in the action pre-release!

Nintendo has now announced a 'First Kick' event in the build-up to release, offering players the opportunity to test the game in advance.

With full details on the dates and times that you can access the game, we can't wait to get stuck in.

First Kick

Nintendo has announced that the Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick event will take place on Saturday, 4 June, and Sunday, 5 June.

There are three windows per day for players to access the game, each with a one-hour time slot.

The windows are the same on both Saturday and Sunday, with the timings as follows:

  • 04:00 - 05:00 BST
  • 12:00 - 13:00 BST
  • 20:00 - 21:00 BST

You can already download and play the tutorial ahead of the event so you won't be going in blind on the day!

Mario Strikers: Battle League

The Mario Strikers Battle League gameplay trailer shown off at Nintendo Direct included a few clips of gameplay as well as some elaboration on new changes to the game.

This includes customization of your team and their stats, new special moves, Hyper Strikes, multiplayer options, as well as some other new features along the way.

The game will feature multiplayer both online and locally, allowing up to 8 players to play at the same time!

Release Date

Mario Strikers Battle League is coming to Nintendo Switch on June 10th, 2022.

This surprise already stole the show at Nintendo Direct and will be many Nintendo fans' most anticipated title of 2022.
