DIRT 5 Next Gen: PS5 gameplay first look, DualSense, 7.1 Surround Sound, 120fps, and more!


DIRT 5 finishes its launch tomorrow for current-gen consoles and PC, and we can’t wait.

With the release of next-gen hardware just around the corner, Codemasters are also getting ready for the launch of the next-gen version of their latest game.

Boasting incredible visuals and a higher refresh rate, the game is set to look stunning.

DIRT 5 on PS5

Not only will we get a sneak peak of DIRT 5 captured on the PS5, we’ll also get insight into how the DualSense will work.

DIRT 5 Technical Director David Springate gives us an overview on how the new technology will work in-game.

The Technical Director also noted that “there are so many enhancements that players will love”, which makes us even more excited!

The team are also excited to showcase the 120Hz mode which will be available on next-gen, meaning the gameplay will be smoother than ever before.

The PS5’s new controller also features adaptive triggers, allowing you to fell more immersed then ever.

DIRT 5 Editions

The Standard Edition of DIRT 5 launches tomorrow, Friday 6 November.

This will mean that all current-gen players will now have access to the game, and can start playing!

For those not willing to wait any longer, the Amplified Edition is out now.

Each of these current-gen version feature a free upgrade to next-gen once a next-gen console has been purchased.
