New Zealand Warriors vs North Queensland Cowboys: Five things we learned

The New Zealand Warriors have continued their brilliant start to the season and with it their fans have come to life as the most as the most passionate and supportive in the competition. To think the Warriors have not played finals football since 2011 and finished 13th last year to the turn around this year is incredible.

There is absolutely nothing better than after being made to wait a week to see your favourite team cross the white line once more, stride out in the hope of victory, especially after successive losses. As the Warriors cruised to an 18-0 I was suddenly struck by this possibly being the worst part of my week, waiting only to see the Cowboys capitulate and be totally overrun. Thankfully, we recuperated, however, the class of New Zealand shone through at the dimly lit Mt Smart Stadium and despite the season being only five weeks old things are looking very positive for the Auckland side.
