With Pokémon Scarlet and Violet set to launch later in 2022, many fans are desperate to learn as much information as possible regarding the upcoming titles.
The first look at the game came via an announcement trailer released on February 27th 2022 and gave fans a look at the three starter Pokémon as well as the seemingly Mediterranean inspired region.

The announcement for the new trailer came via the official Pokémon Twitter page, taking fans by surprise as no Nintendo Direct had been announced beforehand, the usual way that trailers are dropped by Nintendo.

The trailer is set to arrive at 8 am PST / 11 am ET / 2 pm BST / 3 pm CEST and can be found on the Pokémon YouTube channel. There is no confirmation on what will be included in this trailer but it is expected that a closer look at this brand new region and the various different Pokémon that inhabit it.
One of the elements that fans are truly hoping to find in this brand new trailer is in relation to the three starter Pokémon: Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. With only the base forms of the starters currently publicly shown, fans are waiting to find out what the other stages of their evolutionary lines are.
This is especially the case for their final evolutions, with this third stage often being a key selling point for players when it comes to which one of the starters will be their companions throughout their journey.
