MLB The Show 23 is receiving a new game and server update. Just one week after update 5, San Diego Studios decided a new update was necessary. The game has been receiving a lot of new content in the past few days. So, some small fixes and changes needed to be made.
Update 6 won't bring any gameplay changes. It will mainly focus on fixing two small problems players are facing in Diamond Dynasty, March To October, and Franchise.

Update 6 will go live on 18 May, at 4 AM PT/12 PM GMT. Players should complete all their games before that since the server will also undergo an update. Otherwise, they will lose all the progress made in that match.
As mentioned above, update 6 focuses mainly on two bug fixes. The first one is only for the Diamond Dynasty game mode. Developers fixed a crash that would occur when players were viewing one Mini Season goal with a voucher unlockable item as a reward.
The other fix was related to an issue occurring both in March To October and Franchise. This time, the developers fixed a minor bug, that would cause some tutorial messages to continually show as notifications in the Franchise inbox.
There aren't any gameplay changes or any other major bug fixes in this patch. All of the remaining changes are related to teams' uniforms and the game commentary.
