It's no exaggeration to say that World of Warcraft is one of the most successful and influential video games of all-time.

Blizzard Entertainment's MMORPG has been going strong since 2004 and is still one of the most popular games out there.

WoW's lifetime is so extensive that the original Xbox, PS2 and GameCube were the home consoles of choice when it released over a decade and a half ago.

The next chapter

WoW: Shadowlands launches later this month but was originally meant to be released last month.

27th October was its originally slated release date, but a four-week delay has pushed Shadowlands back to this month.

If you can't wait for Shadowlands, the pre-patch has already been live for some time now.

If you want to know exactly when the game will go live in your time zone, WoW's Twitter have helpfully provided this map. Depending on which hemisphere you're in, Shadowlands will either go live on the 23rd or 24th.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be released to all WoW players on 23rd November at 23:00 GMT.
