TheGrefg revealed his own Fortnite Icon Series skin live on Twitch to over 2 million viewers that tuned in live.
The Spanish content creator broke the concurrent viewership by tripling the previous record.
Ninja set the previous record in 2018 when he played Fortnite with Drake and Travis Scott to 616,000 viewers.

He has 6.2 million followers on Twitch and 16 million subscribers on YouTube, making him one of the most popular content creators in the world.
TheGrefg is best known for playing shooting games, such as Fortnite, as well as many other shooters and FPS games.
Speaking primarily in Spanish, it is understandable that a lot of gamers haven't heard from him outside of Spanish speaking countries.
But TheGrefg has dominated the market when it comes to the Spanish speaking community, regularly getting millions of views per video.

During the stream, TheGrefg announced that Epic Games were sending him the skin to reveal live, after originally only intended to show off a promotional image.

The skin also comes with a pickaxe and emote, as well as a second style.

Eventually Epic Games sent TheGrefg the promotional video for the skin to showcase to his audience.

When Is The Skin Available
The skin will be coming to the Item Shop on Saturday January 16th, it will be on the rotation heading into January 17th.

To celebrate the release of TheGrefg's new Icon Series skin, Epic Games has also released a TheGrefg themed Deathrun Creative map for players to jump in and play.
