Super Smash Bros Ultimate has gotten much bigger since its launch 3 years ago. Plenty of new characters and fighters have found their way to the game and today, at Nintendo's E3 2021 Direct, we just got one more announcement.

That announcement adds a little more to this game by adding Tekken's Kazuya Mishima. Here's everything we know about it so far.

Kazuya Coming to Smash Bros. Ultimate

At today's Nintendo Direct, we were greeted by a tense intro with Ganon being carried unconscious. This tease might make you think of Breath of the Wild 2 but that's not what they were teasing here. He was suddenly thrown off a cliff and it was revealed this trailer is all about Kazuya Mishima.

Kazuya is making his way through the cast of the game, throwing them into a volcano. After this, we get the chance to see him in person. He's a close-ranged fighter rather similar to Ryu. He's all about grabbing his opponents and taking quick swipes before they know what's coming. This is until he changes. His moves use his devil mode to deal extra damage and engage short flight. This gives him a little more range.

When Does Kazuya Come Out?

Though we don't know when we will see him just yet, we do know when we will get more information. At 7 am PT / 10 am ET / 3 pm PT on June 28th, Masahiro Sakurai will host his own presentation to tell people all about the latest fighter.

We will likely see a release date on that date and it should come a few weeks after the presentation to make room for even more fighters in the future. For the release date and release time, make sure to check in on RealSport for all the latest information.
