Stardew Valley is a hit farming-simulator game with an awesome following.
The game is also incredibly popular on Twitch, with many thousands of people choosing to watch the game each day.
This latest update has brought major change to the game, bringing with it a host of new content, although is currently only available on PC.
The update was officially announced by the developers earlier this year, with small bits of information drip-fed to fans over the year.
Whilst we still don't have an official release date for consoles, we do know what the update contains.
The new content is incredibly exciting for players, new and old ones alike, so let's jump into that now.
One of the biggest features coming to the game is a new farm type.
This is called the Beach Farm, and it is relatively self-explanatory. It will certainly add a new interesting element for existing players to explore!
Another big new feature on the way with 1.5 will be co-op split screen, which will be a game-changer for local players wishing to play at the same time!
Another new addition to the game is an advanced options tab. Through this, you can adjust how the game plays slightly.
You can adjust the Community Center Bundles option to receive special bundles that are different from the normal game.
On November 13, ConcernedApe, the developer of the game, tweeted that the update is in the home stretch.
Whilst we don't have an official release date, we can speculate as to when the update will release for fans.
The update has arrived on PC, and we await confirmation of release for console and mobile players.
With the Christmas period well and truly underway and many people now on holiday, we presume the update will drop in early 2021.
We'll make sure to keep you updated here!
