Splitgate has come quite a long way since its inception and one of the ways it has gotten bigger is in its items. Each day, new items get added to the store and the game gets a little bigger. Needless to say, with so much going on, it can sometimes be a bit easy to miss the small stuff. Here's how to get new drops and how to open them.
Unlocking Drops in Splitgate
There are a few central ways to get your hands on drops in Splitgate. The first is simply by logging in. The game has a daily check-in function that rewards you for playing multiple days in a row. If you miss a day, you can use splitcoins to catch up again.
Outside of this, you can earn more drops from doing the weekly/daily challenges or by completing exp levels/levels in the battle pass.
In the future, we should receive season challenges that will likely do the same thing. Essentially, the reward system is created to get you playing every day so, the more you play, the more you will earn.
How to Drops
From the main menu, you simply have to click on the reward center and click to open drops. On console, you click in the left analog stick. On PC, you just click on it with your mouse.
Go to the drops section and click on it. From here, you will be brought into a new area where you can start the drop system. It will give you some item at random from all the loot available. If you don't like what you receive, you can also try to earn more through the game's systems or purchase something from the in-game item shop. Happy hunting.
