Aliens: Fireteam Details
From what we can make of it, it seems as though the new Aliens game is going to take a leaf out of World War Z's book in how it is structured.
Although it appears as though you will be creating your Colonial Marine from scratch, there will be a class system and a number of RPG elements key to this titles' replayability.
The narrative arc of Aliens: Fireteam will take place over four campaigns that are divided into three missions each. It doesn't sound like too much, but when you consider the replayability of a title like World War Z and Left 4 Dead... It sounds like Aliens: Fireteam won't be so bad.
In addition to this, there are eleven different types of Xenomorph, additional enemies like androids, and over thirty weapons.
It seems as if Aliens: Fireteam is going to be the perfect title for those fans of the series who are looking for intense bursts of Xenomorph-killing action. It might not have the horror chops of Aliens: Isolation, but the chaotic and overwhelming hordes could be the winning ticket to capture a different kind of desperation.
Grab your Fireteam and get ready for Summer 2021 when Aliens: Fireteam drops on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Steam.
