Marvel's Midnight Suns COUNTDOWN - release time, editions & more

After multiple delays pushing the release back further and further, Marvel's Midnight Suns is finally arriving soon, bringing the heroes of Marvel to a deckbuilding strategy game from the team behind the popular XCOM and Civilization franchises.

Take control of The Hunter and lead the Midnight Suns, building a squad of heroes and vanquish supernatural foes on a variety of missions in a game that is set to delight both fans of the comic book properties they're based on as well as the strategy games that Firaxis are known for.

Marvel's Midnight Suns Release Time

For players excited to get their hands on Marvel's Midnight Suns, the good news is that you don't have to wait much longer with a final release date set for Friday, 2nd December 2022.

If you want to play the game as soon as it launches, pre-order it and preload it on your platform of choice before it comes out.

Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses

According to the Steam listing for Marvel's Midnight Suns, there are three different versions of the game to purchase, those being the standard edition, "Digital+ Edition" and the "Legendary Edition".

For all versions of the game, there will be a pre-order bonus, specifically the "Doctor Strange Defenders Skin" will be given to all versions of the game purchases before the release. This isn't exclusive, however, with the skin becoming available to all 30 days later.

The Digital+ Edition comes with the following items:

• Captain America (Future Soldier) skin
• Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell) skin
• Magik (Phoenix Five) skin
• Nico Minoru (Sister Grimm) skin
• Wolverine (X-Force) skin

The Legendary Edition meanwhile includes all the Digital+ Edition Content along with the Season Pass which gives players access to 23 premium skins (some featured in the Digital+ Edition) and four additional heroes released via DLC.
