Day 1 Patch

IO interactive have confirmed that Hitman 3 will be getting day 1 patch, which will add many pieces of content to the game, including the levels that aren't included in the base game installation.

"HITMAN 3 will require a day one patch for all disc users. The day one patch will be automatically applied to digital players. This patch will include access to the VR mode for PlayStation users and will include the remaining locations that are not included on the disc."

The Trinity Pack will include various items such as briefcases, weapons and suits that represent the HITMAN trilogy.

Trilogy Will Be Less Than 100GB

An alleged developer has stated that the entire trilogy of games will take up less than 100GB in total, with all content included.

This would also indicate that all three games will link together as one, much like Hitman 1 and 2 do.

Players that launch Hitman 2 can see all of the missions from Hitman 1 and if they're installed then are playable from within Hitman 2.

This makes the trilogy one seamless story, rather than three separate games.

Considering we are getting to the age of stupidly large games, having all three titles at less than 100GB is quite an achievement, especially considering other games such as Call of Duty can take up to 200GB.

Location

We know that HITMAN 3 will be based in Chongqing.

One of China’s mega-cities in the South-West, Chongqing seems an ideal location for the final instalment of the trilogy.

From what we have seen so far, it looks awesome! Especially with the Next-Gen enhanced ray-tracing.

You can find out more about the location here.

Achievements/Trophies Revealed

Ahead of its release, the Achievement and Trophy list has been revealed.

The game will feature 83 Achievements/Trophies and a final Platinum Trophy for PS4/PS5 players.

The full Trophy list can be found here.

PC Players Will Need To Rebuy Hitman 2

Due to Hitman 3 being an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC, players will need to rebuy the Hitman 2 levels if they want to bring them over to the third title.

Hitman 2 allowed players to import the levels from Hitman 1 and play the first two games from one game, rather than having to jump between them.

The same will happen for Hitman 3, if you happened to buy all three games on Epic Games Store.

Otherwise, players can import the locations for Hitman 1, but only the progression for Hitman 2.

This doesn't apply to console though, so if you've played both games on PS4 or Xbox One you can transfer the locations to Hitman 3, assuming you're buying on the same platform again.
