Latest - Preload available now

After years of waiting, Elden Ring is finally almost here. You can play it for yourself in just a few days but, if you play on Steam, you can get it all ready in time.

Coming in at 48.25 GB, it is sure to be a pretty huge game.

Elden Ring PC Requirements

The official Elden Ring Twitter account tweeted their recommendations for running the game. You can see that Tweet below.

If you can't see this tweet for any reason, you can find a rundown of it all below.

Minimum Specifications

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core I5-8400 / AMD Ryzen
  • Memory: 12 GB Ram
  • Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060, 3 GB / AMD Radeon RX 580, 4 GB
  • DirectX: DirectX 12
  • Storage: 60 GB
  • Sound Car: Windows-Compatible Audio Device

This is a reasonably affordable rig, with the GTX 1060 releasing over half a decade ago. Although you may struggle to build it in time for release, if you have something similar, you should be good to go. The thing your PC may struggle with the most is that storage. At 60 GB, this is a pretty large game. If you have access to an SSD, it seems likely that Elden Ring's huge world would benefit from faster loading times.

Recommended Specifications

  • OS: Windows 11/10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
  • Memory: 16 GB Ram
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, 8GB / AMD Radeon RX Vega 56, 8GB
  • DirectX: DirectX 12
  • Storage: 60 GB
  • Sound Card: Windows Compatible Audio Device

Once again, these are decent requirements. They aren't hugely expensive in comparison to the PC market, giving a good entry point for anyone looking to give it a go. From Software games can look pretty good so it's nice how accomodating these specs are.
