Dead Island 2 has recently had a couple of gameplay trailers released which also include the official release date.

With nearly a decade of development, this game will really be something for the adoring fans of the series.

If these videos are anything to go off of, the gameplay has definitely been spruced up and made gorier than before.

It won't be long until players can hack and slash their way through hordes of the undead.

Whether that's shooting with precision with a sniper rifle, or tearing through packs with bear claws.

Players have all the choices in the world when it comes to how they choose to kill the undead.

So, let's look at the release date for Dead Island 2 and what players should expect from the game.

Dead Island 2 Release Date

The game will be out for release on April 28 2023.

The game was supposed to release in November 2022, but unfortunately, this had to be pushed back another 6 months.

But, as aggravated as the community was, this does mean that the game will be even more perfect on release.

The slowdown of release could also be down to the frequent change of developers.

Dead Island 2 went from development from Yager, then to Sumo Digital, and finally is landing with Dambuster Studios.

But, we finally will have the released game in April 2023! And, this is supposed to be the very final release date change. Fingers crossed...
