The Day Before gameplay trailer out now

It was initially revealed back in January, but a new gameplay trailer for the zombie MMO survival game, A Day Before.

The trailer, premiered on IGN's YouTube channel on April 9 at 12pm ET/5pm BST.

It is "13 straight minutes of gameplay from The Day Before, a new open-world MMO survival set in a deadly, post-pandemic America overrun by flesh-hungry infected and survivors killing each other for food, weapons, and cars."

There are definite The Last of Us vibes to it, so you can check out how the gameplay compares to the PlayStation exclusive.

Release Date

When The Day Before was revealed back in January 2021, it was announced that it was planned for release in Q2 2021.

This new gameplay trailer will be the first we've heard about the game since then, so maybe we'll get an update on the release date as part of it.

We'll be sure to let you know as and when a full release date is revealed.

Platforms

For now, The Day Before is only set to come to PC. You can wishlist the game on Steam, ahead of its release date, but that's it for now.

There has been no news on a potential console release and we'll likely have to wait to see how it does on PC before we get any.
