Madden 17 Ultimate Team: Super Bowl Set Guide
Madden 17 Ultimate Team has lots of perks, one being its Sets and their trading card-esque feel. Here is a guide to just one of them: The Super Bowl Set.
The NFL Season is drawing ever closer to its end but Madden Season is still going strong, thanks largely to Madden Ultimate Team. Madden Ultimate Team is great for so many reasons and one of those reasons is the Sets. Sets are the place for all of your spare items to go in exchange for better and/or exclusive items. What is great about the Sets is that there are constantly new ones released that are topical. Naturally then, the brains over at EA Sports couldn’t ignore the sport’s biggest stage: the Super Bowl.
To commemorate the Super Bowl there is a new Set to complete in Madden. Here is everything you need to know about this set.
The Set itself is made of 11 Sub-Sets:
All of these Sub-Sets expire on March 2nd 2017 unless stated otherwise.

- TOTY to Super Bowl
Add any 3 TOTY Items (Collectibles or Players) to earn a Gold or better Super Bowl Player. Expires February 5th.
Now, all four Bosses are among the best 5 or 6 players in the entire MUT Database, but you have to commit an awful lot to get them. Personally, I would prefer to keep four 95 Overall players at four different positions than have one 98 Overall player. However, this is subjective and it does depend on the quality of your team. You should also bear in mind though that by selling any of these players you can make a lot of coins in the Auction House. For example, the Base Elite players (90-91 Overall Players) are currently going for around 45,000 coins each, at least, and the prices only skyrocket for players rated higher.
Overall, this is a very good Set. There are a lot of very good players to be found from this Set and the benefits of completing this Set are huge.
I do have one tip. Before you try to complete this Set and/or sell your Super Bowl players, make sure you complete/do at least one of the Super Bowl Solo Challenges. The two Super Bowl based Solo Challenges give you a lot of players and so you can then choose which ones to keep and get rid of as you may have enough to complete some of these Sets and keep some in your lineup.
