With Madden 21 now live on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via EA Play, it appears EA's servers are struggling to deal with the new wave of traffic.
The community has been experiencing plenty of connectivity issues in Madden 21 and a range of other EA titles.
At 9am ET / 2pm GMT on Thursday, 4 March EA servers had 223 reports of problems according to Downdetctor.
74% of this was Server connection, whilst a further 22% were struggling to log-in.
This tweet from @AnuobyDynasty is one of many that says EA Servers are down on Madden 21 Xbox One.
The severs are believed to still be up on FIFA 21, but user @KaiWill57593061 stated that their connection to the servers broke just as they were buying FIFA Points in FIFA Ultimate Team.
It also appears that the issues are not exclusive to Xbox, as @Stephen_White24 "having trouble with EA games connecting to PlayStation Network".
