Avatar smites and League of Legends jungle pets
Jungle pets have been in the minds of junglers since their half announcement back in the preseason dev video.
However, now their details and appearance has been announced by Riot Games.
The pets start as an egg which evolves and gets stronger as the jungler kills more and more jungle monsters.
There are three types of pets which are...
- Noxian Embercat*: This will be the pet of choice for junglers looking to play more aggressively. It will provide slows and bonus damage.
- Ixtali Ixamander*: This jungle pet is perfect for junglers looking to frontline and tank for their teams. It will provide a shield based on your health that provides bonus slow resist and Tenacity when broken.
- Ionian Cloudleaper*: This jungle pet will be great for junglers looking to rotate and move around the map more quickly. It will provide bonus movement speed.
Leashing range indicators
This is another effort to simplify the jungle role in League of Legends.
These visual leashing indicators can show how far a jungle camp can be pulled before they walk back.
Riot Games have also decreased the distance that camps can be pulled so champions don't have to stand in the perfect place to optimise clear.
Reccomended jungle paths
For new jungle players, pathing can be a huge obstacle, not only to memorise, but also to understand.
This is why reccomended jungle paths are being added for every single champion.
These first clear paths were determined by gathering data from high skilled junglers on their high mastery champs across the globe.
